Dubai is all about  opulence on a grand scale. So as a cake designer who loves a large canvas I was excited to design this 2.2 metre tall wedding cake with literally 10,000 ‘s of hand made sugar flowers that was fit for a royal-esque wedding. This order would typically take about 2 months to commission however I only had 1 week. So with the help of a large team we worked late every night till this huge order was displayed overlooking Dubai.

Last week I took on the biggest challenge of my design career, to make a detailed custom tailored 2 metre tall and 1 metre wide couture cake adorned with over ten thousand sugar flowers and leaves with rococo style detailing in just 7 days from flying into Dubai , designing and creating every hand made sweet detail (with the helping hands of @pistachoux_dubai team 🙏. ) This was definitely a cake marathon with a beautifully sweet ending .
